Mary went down under 7lbs since birth (which is normal) so she really is smaller! Also found out that she has hip dysplasia just like Corrie - with one being more easily dislocated than the other. She had an ultrasound yesterday, and I could hear/feel the 'click' once when I held her. So this means wearing a harness for a while, and a few trips to Indy to see someone in pediatric orthopedics.

happy birthday, Mary!

Mary Joy Powell was born this morning at 7:42am, at 7lbs and 5 ounces, 19 inches long.

Funny she waited to be born on Monday, the 29th, just like her sister! Corrie was born at 7:30-something too.

Mary and mom are both doing great; dad just ran home to eat brunch and pick up the rest of the family at the house...

We must have walked 3 laps around WalMart last night.. but still waiting. In the meantime, I won 6 games in a row at Settlers of Catan (even Carrie played one game, and she always wins when she's pregnant!).

Also in the meantime, I'm reading lots of Fun Facts. More to come.

Today, she's still having contractions but none are closer than 15-20 minutes.
Everyone has left now, and we're still waiting :)

If little sister was born tomorrow, they will both have Monday the 29th as their birthday.

update: contractions at 7-8 minutes.. so maybe tonight's the night? Who knows.
