Please forgive the late post... today was literally a whirlwind (seriously, check the weather). We hope that he will start to slow down at his age, smile. In preparation for lots of work (smile) we've switched the good computer to brian's office which means I am using the old computer. (It's like 30! sorry, a joke.) It is taking away years from my life it is so slow. There are no "holes" for the camera so I will post the after picture soon.

new warm pajamas

Thank you to both the grandmas for cute pajamas and a cute little story. The snowmen pajamas are from g. powell and g. peterson taught corrie the "chubby little snowmen" story last time they were down. She has a great memory and likes to tell the story again and again. She's also enjoying her new pajamas too. Thought you might like to see it...

Socks for arms

Carrie though I did it, and I thought she did it...but Corrie was walking around all by herself with these Dr. Seuss socks on her arms today. Yep - she's feeling better. Still has a runny nose, but not coughing as much.

the Blahs

Corrie and I have been sick.. not sure who gave it to whom, but she's had the worse of it. She had 'croup with strider' and woke up one morning wheezing (which was worsened when it scared her to death to wheeze/choke!)

She's now on steroids :o and getting lots of sleep. Dad's back to work and trying to get over this sinus-head-cold-headache-cough thing. Mom's at church right now watching the kids (I'm home with Corrie, quarantined).

Got a new video camera in the mail this week. Main reason is to get into Istock Video (clips sell for $50 for HD, as compared to photos selling for $10. So I'll try my hand at stock video clips) When I get some time, and get the software on the computer, I'll try to post some sweet video clips on YouTube :) Stay tuned.

PS - I finished my photo website brianpowell.info Check it out. Working on a couple of wedding albums the next few weeks, and shooting a wedding here in B.G. Feb. 2. Other than that, I'll be focused on graduating in May (finally) and job searching all semester! (on top of a 200-hour internship and studying for comps). Pray for me and us as we find out what's in store this year :)

it's cold... it's KANSAS cold!

It's very cold here in KY ... seems like the coldest I can remember in our 5 years here. I mean, we used to make fun of the Kentucky "winters" :) But this week, it's been windy and cold - reminding me of KANSAS cold. We even saw snow flurries yesterday. Speaking of Kansas, make sure you remember to root for them in the Orange Bowl Thursday night.

So, needless to say, we've been indoors a lot and having a quiet boring time. Not a whole lot to post. We are celebrating our anniversary this weekend though. Woohooo!
