Grandma and grandpa got some bonding time friday night for the rehearsal (thanks for babysitting!). We managed to keep busy during the wedding thanks to wagon wheels and grandpa...

we are happy to be back and sleeping in our own beds. last night after we were home for a while we had to run out and get something and she gave us a look as we strapped her in again like, "again? oh no, please..." we had fun with all our family and miss you all already.

We'll have pics up soon :) but some news in short:

Corrie has a 3rd tooth! It was hiding up in her upper gums... She's really been branching out and trying other foods like apples, but still craves her crackers (and Cheerios).

We made it back, finally, from Missouri, only after a dead battery and a Corrie mess in the car :P We spent about 20 hours on the road, but she was a trooper.

This coming weekend we're off to Missouri for David and Heidi's wedding (Brian's cousin David).

new things

Here are some pictures and video from recently... it seems like she's learning at warp speed these days (or maybe it's that she's been learning for 10 months and it's just starting to come out. Anyway, it's amazing to see her grow.)

She loves books. She'll stick out her chubby index finger and read along. Animals are popular with her (bunnies are always her favorite "sniff, sniff" and birds. She just started trying to "chirp" like a bird, it's just her sucking in her bottom lip.) Usually she's always saying, da-da so I get a tickle out of it when I ask her to say "ma-ma". She says ba-ba but it's great to hear my name!

Students

Pray for the students, staff, and families of the Virginia Tech community. A special note of thanks to the RAs around the world---none of whom should have to lose their life while responding to residents.

Well, I was gone to Texas for a wedding this past weekend. It was cold. Stay tuned to the Shutterfly prints page for some pics later this week.

Corrie is pointing now. Not a major milestone or anything, but it's neat to see her index finger out there :)

The school year is in madhouse mode. This is when everything comes to a head- a pretty chaotic season.

Next weekend is the Ultimate team's home tournament at WKU. We've had a pretty stellar team this year, with a few transfer students from UK and new players. They were 4-1 last weekend at MonkeyBowl in Nashville.
