Dr. Corrie

Maisy had a tummy ache, so Corrie had to take her clothes off and 'have a good listen':
Here photo skills are improving :) Notice the strong diagonal and the use of the 'rule of thirds' -- (just kidding!)

the injury report

Corrie's new 'do, and a bite mark on her cheek from Children's Church. I guess a girl was trying to help her put away her nap mat.. and Corrie thought she was trying to take it away?
I also got a black eye playing basketball this weekend, so we kind of match.

Corrie and Oliver last weekend

As the weeks get colder we have to find more ways of staying busy indoors. Corrie usually does a pretty good job of this, (see picture) smile, but last weekend we made a trip up to Granger to see Oliver and the rest of the family. This was all we could get from the two of them running around. They had a good time, mostly exploring the upstairs and jumping on the beds. This weekend we hope to rake more leaves in our yard and then the next, travel to see the Powell's for Thanksgiving.

O: "Corrie...?"
C: "I'm right here Oliverrrr!"

being crafty

Sometimes it's hard finding things Corrie can "help" with (as the video from below shows... yikes! We still get a little nervous when she practices cutting. And why must she cut things so small?! Fortunately, no major accidents yet with her fingers. Besides little pieces of paper everywhere we do have one small cut on the edge of our quilt that she did. The scissors had to go away for a little while after that.)

She is always wanting to "help". Help washing dishes, any kind of squirting to clean windows, dusting furniture, she even got in the tub and helped "scrub" it the other day. So I found some foam beads and a child friendly needle and we made a necklace today. Here are some pictures...

"take my picture, mommy."
(sorry for the not-so-great "after" picture, smile.)
