dressin' up

Let the candy rationing begin!  This was the first actual Halloween that Corrie got to knock on people's door and get candy (her favorite thing right now!).  Mary enjoyed being a flower (or synchronized swimmer person?) and riding in the wagon and Johnny wound up hiding under somebody's bushes most of the evening.  We had a great time!

Grandpa and Grandma Powell were here for a much loved visit.   We sure had a lot of fun and according to Corrie Grandpa takes A LOT of naps!  A quote from the weekend... Corrie eyeing the candy corn, "Mommy, can you keep an eye on me?".   Sure, Honey :)

Corrie's other costume

Corrie on the night after Halloween, in our HRL room in Bowling Green. "I'm all ready for Halloween!", jumping on the mattress on the floor.

the lion and the jackrabbit (?)

One of the first places we stopped in Bowling Green was the carousel at the mall. Corrie was the Lion for Halloween - for about 10 minutes - and then we went to dinner. Next, you'll see how she was the Underwear Sock Girl the next night :)

Our pumpkin

If you thought Corrie was hard to understand before, listen to her with a cold! Carrie carved this for her the other night and lit it for our porch. Have a safe and fun Halloween everybody :)
