Most of you have probably heard me plug ING Direct the last few years. After recent financial news, I thought I'd plug it again. If you're still paying for checks, stamps, and getting .001% interest on your checking (and not much more on your saving account) -- you should check it out. It's a super easy website to use, and the MasterCard uses any 'Allpoint' ATM for fee-free. CDs have great rates too (but their mutual funds don't have a long history yet; I recommend TRowePrice)Here's a good overview/review I found online.
No minimums, no fees, great rates. The way banks should be!
If you want a $25 bonus for opening an account with $250 or more, let me know and I'll send you a link.

How in the Sam Scratch do you make deposits? Do they have locations, or purely online? Explain this to me...
mainly Direct Deposit, of course.
You can also mail in checks... or link to another account you have.
Their (ING Direct) actual offices are headquartered in Maryland - if I remember right.
I supposed you could also drive over there and hand them a check.
