Not sure what this means, but she likes to put her hands on the side of her head and cover her ears sometimes. Here is a video: she loves the phone and almost has it figured out.

trip to the park

Last weekend we made it to a park to eat some sandwiches and I was able to try out my new camera/lens for a 2nd time. The wider lens is great :) Corrie can be seen staying on the blanket, too afraid of the grass to chase a chicken. Rooster. Whatever. She enjoyed the playground though... Here are a few pics:

Friday night dinner with dad

So apparently she was signing 'thank you' in the middle there.. not 'eat' :) Mom made it back and Corrie was already asleep last night.

Oliver Peterson is growing up just as fast as Corrie; here's a pic from Spring Break:

Corrie is learning her sign language. The signs are kind of fuzzy, but she knows 'cracker', 'eat', 'more', thank-you, finished... and we're still working on 'water', mom and dad, etc.

If we can get some new batteries, we'll try to get a video clip :P

Cats don't like birds that much

While I'll leave the technicalities to bloggers like our friend Cort (thebracketboard.com), I did want to send my deepest sympathies to the state of Kentucky...as my Jayhawks handled the Cats today.
You can catch them again on Thursday night, when they play Southern Illinois. Then I'll have to send my deepest sympathies to my family members from Red Bud and Waterloo :(

OK - I couldn't resist; Even though I like Julian Wright (who had the most points and was 'player of the game') look at Chalmers ('Super Mario' Chalmers): 16 pts., 3/5 three pointers, 5/8 field goals, 8 assists, 4 steals, 1 block, 33 minutes and only 1 foul. Well, he did have 3 turnovers... but this team is deeeep. It's not just one or two stars (*cough* Durant *cough*), but a whole team that plays great at both ends of the floor. The only chance anyone has to keep it close is to slow the pace down and hope they miss shots. UK did that early in the game, but it didn't last - especially after Morris had 3 fouls.
