Note the yellow piece of paper taped to Mary's chair.
(Yet another difference I see in Mary... I do remember Corrie playing with the little hangy things in this chair, batting and swinging at them . You'll note that Mary has pulled them all down in these pictures. Funny girl :)
it goes something like this: 'we are clothes in the washing machine, we wiggle and jiggle until we are clean, and mother shakes us out to dry, and hangs us up on the clothesline high'
Summer is in full swing... just thought I would put some thoughts down about what the girls are doing.
Corrie is falling deeper and deeper into the world of pretend and imagination. Used to be she would act out things with her dolls, animals, etc. Now we've moved on to an imaginary bird that she carries around in her cupped hand. She is busy making "nice, comfy" places for her bird and other animals. She's had several worms (not the imaginary kind) that she's tried to find a good place for outside and tried to catch 'light-ing' bugs the other night. What a difference from last summer! I love to listen to her talk...
Mary is very happy these days. Her latest and greatest is rolling over Hooray! and anything she can get in her mouth. She's just full of excitement. She loves books... TO EAT! She loves the bath... TO SPLASH! She loves being held... TO ZURBURT OUR SHOULDERS and GRAB NOSES AND HAIR! I'm noticing she is not as plump as Corrie was (although she's no light-weight by any means) but she is quickly surpassing Corrie in the length category. Pretty soon she'll be taller than me! (like my mom and I!)
Sorry for the lack of posts but I've been busy with photos and brianpowell.info lately. Here is a clip of the girls - dancing while I work on the computer.
