doctor appointments galore

With Corrie's 1-year checkup, my clinic appt., Corrie's trip to Dr. Green, my visit to Dr. Bramham...

Anyway - the last update: my tumor markers were normal, the CT scan was clear, just waiting on the chest Xray. Dr. Bramham is retiring and moving to NC, so I'll see a new doc in the fall. It's been 3 years since my first diagnosis. :) Time flies when you're having fun...

Corrie's first steps

Last night, on Father's Day, she took a 'step' (shifted her weight forward on one foot) but now there's no turnin' back:

Went to Dr. Green (the hip doctor guy) for an x-ray checkup today. Not much has changed since December; she's doing fine but he's looking for the hip socket to develop more by 2 years old. (The technical part is 20 degrees. She's at 26 degrees. 20 is average/normal, and most 1 year olds are within 20-25 degrees, approaching 20. The lower the number, the more the hip socket is round and encompassing the leg bone. The higher the number, the more the socket is flat and not grasping around the femur.)

Dad sees Dr. Bramham tomorrow (had CT and labs on Friday) for the last time before she retires to North Carolina.

Doctor visits

Corrie had her 1-year visit this morning.

"In the blue corner... weighing in at a fierce 20 pounds 12 ounces.. standing (yes barely, but standing) at 29 and 1/4 inches tall.... Coooorrrrrie 'I'm a big girl now' POWell!! And in the red corner... weighing a scant 15 cc's ... and only standing a few inches tall... the usual suspect.... the syringe!" (booo0)

I think she's going to Nashville for Dr. Green next week... stay tuned
Dad gets his tests tomorrow and doc. visit next week.

New pics and video

From this afternoon: in the first clip, Carrie walks off and Corrie disappears! :o In the second clip, you can see Corrie go to the edge of the grass and not a step further. This is normal. For her.

some pics from last week

I have been too busy to get to the images on my camera, but the Petersons sent a few: Corrie eating cake, washing it off, and playing with the doll Grandma made for her :)
