Corrie's first steps

Last night, on Father's Day, she took a 'step' (shifted her weight forward on one foot) but now there's no turnin' back:

Went to Dr. Green (the hip doctor guy) for an x-ray checkup today. Not much has changed since December; she's doing fine but he's looking for the hip socket to develop more by 2 years old. (The technical part is 20 degrees. She's at 26 degrees. 20 is average/normal, and most 1 year olds are within 20-25 degrees, approaching 20. The lower the number, the more the hip socket is round and encompassing the leg bone. The higher the number, the more the socket is flat and not grasping around the femur.)

Dad sees Dr. Bramham tomorrow (had CT and labs on Friday) for the last time before she retires to North Carolina.

Way to go Corrie!!! I noticed on Thursday, when she and Taylor each had one of my hands, that Corrie wasn't actually relying on me for support any more than Taylor. Figured she'd be chasing after Taylor before too long! - Sarah

All of the Shepherds are impressed. Corrie is one amazing girl! What with her physical and communication skills, she's becoming quite the little lady. :)
