Well, we did it! Survived our first day of school. After a little trouble in the morning (she said she cried during snack time because she missed me and Mary so much) she had a wonderful time!... and the best part is she can't wait to go tomorrow. They practiced drawing straight lines, went to music class, read Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready for Kindergarten and learned some Chinese (though Corrie said she forgot it all :)
And what does one do when your 5 year old goes off to school? Keep checking the clock every three minutes and wonder what she's doing, yeeeeessss.... and AFTER that you tackle all those zucchinis from the garden! Glad there's lots of them to help keep our mind off of how much we miss her, :)

Glad the day went well! Believe it or not, Lewis is learning Chinese too! I find it kind of bizarre, but am oddly comforted that he and Corrie now have this in common. The bread looks delicious, by the way. :)
