2013 Winter Break

This was us many mornings over break... ham and eggs, special piggy whisk, silly face ...and hot cocoa.

Corrie getting crafty with it. This was her ode to Colorado- camping, lake, mountains, etc..

silliness ruled!

2012 Christmas

Season of Wonder * * *...
tried to make silhouettes of the girls for a Christmas gift but I liked these pictures the way they are... and the two girls in them!

... seemed like we had a busy holiday this year :)

...and not much snow :(

But a visit from Uncle Petey and Aunt Cassie was just what we needed! love them...

2012 Halloween

Sorry, these are really late but I thought I would hit the highlights from the end of the year. Makes me realize how blessed I am and how much fun we do have around here :)

The October issue of food&wine magazine had some fun recipes to try... This is bug guts pasta which was really good but I also was introduced to red velvet cake balls, made to look like eyeballs of course. Dangerously good!

This week

Have a whole new perspective on this week. Corrie was home sick most everyday except Tuesday when she gave her biography presentation (which she nailed, smile).

I can see   now   how being miserably sick was such a sweet blessing for me. What a wonderful week :) full of taking temperatures, games of uno and war, reading together, coughing fits at 4 in the morning, doctor visits, sleep, exhaustion... I'm so glad she was home.

I cannot begin to imagine...

Children's

During fall break we met some friends in Indy for some fun and exploration at the Children's Museum. We had a great time and were thankful for the chance to go,

Are we having fun yet?!

Um, you forgot something, Corrie.

Mary builds herself a chair and... dino digging!
